Above is the original Siris character design J.Korim [penciller] drew up for the Rotogin comic. And below [mech designer] Darwin’s version loosely based from Korim’s concepts for an animated Rotogin trailer:

The above is one of Darwin’s mech designs for the Spider-Mantiez. One of the other guys from the studio, Galen Lau, has a 3d model of the Spider-Mantiez spun 360 degrees :D.

ABOUT SIRIS MUNROE:
In the comic, she’s the current lightweight champion of the underground Rotogin tournaments. Siris as a character is this classy diva of a mech pilot with artificially enhanced abilities and a state-of-the-art machine, courtesy of the Protoworks Company to test some of their products. Simply put she’s pure advertisment. Siris comes off as very aloof and takes great pleasure in beating her opponents; she’s capable of showing her non-bitchy side when she’s doting on her mech (she calls it her “baby”). Despite the perks of being a guinea pig, she’s damn good at hiding its downsides. Unlike most other mech pilots who want to get by or live the highlife, fighting is all she has.

Feels a little weird to be posting up some old Rotogin material, so sorry about the low qual by the way. I just wanted to show how the creative team working on the comic put a lot of effort into the title hehe. For the sidestory project, Darwin’s pretty much gonna stick with the animation drawing style he used for a trailer we did a while back. [That guy is the epitome of CLEAN LOL.]
